Hi there,
I'm another person having issues registering my Dynalink RTA1046VW with VFX sice my AG310 spat the dummy.
I've checked other posts and this is the config I have.

SIP Basic Settings






Phone 1:
PSTN mode
(The registration is failed. You can not make VOIP phone calls through this port now.)


Phone 2:
PSTN mode
(The registration is failed. You can not make VOIP phone calls through this port now.)

I have tried, tried and tried again yet no registration. This is also the second lot of credentials i've been supplied with,can anyone help?

sorry, formating FAIL.
All ports are set 5060
all server settings are pan.wxnz.net
All other entries are set with info from the email sent by xnet.
I will post a doctored screenshot when I have a spare moment.
Thanks for looking though.

You need to insert your VFX username in there, not the SIP AuthID. Presumably the device has somewhere to insert your SIP AuthID - if it doesn't it's not going to work.

Many VoIP providers require AuthID's these days for security purposes, however not all hardware and software supports this despite it being part of the RFC.
