Xnet plans make no sense
 fusion +5GB =  $70 ... add 10GB (15GB total) end price $79.93
fusion +15GB    end price is $99

so for the exact same data and connection there are two very differently priced ways to get it.
so what idiot would take the +15GB plan and spend an extra $20approx/month ....is it just a trap for those who cant count?

why not offer the 15GB plan at the same rate as the 5GB?

riddle me this

The +15GB plan also includes national calls.

Learn to read! I didn't notice the free national calling straight away but re-read it as it didn't make sense

Here's a tip for those of you using VFX to call mobiles:

-  As you may be aware, the price reduced from 28c per min to 22c per min at the start of May
-  I was looking at my Viewbill portal just now and noticed that mobile calls were still at the old rate of 28c
-  It turns out that you need to contact WxC and request to be changed to the new plan as it doesn't happen automatically.

Hopefully this will save you some $$$.

New plan? I didn't think VFX had plans (or it just has one plan for all)

Sorry, I should have said "New Pricing".  Basically, if you don't call them, you will remain on the old pricing @ 28c per minute for mobile calls.

Anyone know if you can have the new pricing for calls, with the old torrent plan (Fusion)?

I saw the pricing yesterday and discovered calls to South Africa changed from 10c to 21c. Our paid calls are only to SA and AU, and a couple of mobile calls a month. Good to know the new pricing does not kick in unless you change plans. At 10c per minute it is cheaper calling from NZ to SA than it is for people in SA to call their neighbour!

You can never have enough Volvos!

Nope you have to switch to one of the new plans to get the new prices unfortunately.

Well, it's been great XNet, but I'm afraid I'm leaving you... I've fallen to temptation and am heading off to snap! to get more for less!

Also, I've been told that tomorrow snap! are starting a new VDSL promotion; VDSL for only $25 on top of the standard plans AND $160 off a VDSL router!! How can you say no to that!!!

As you might expect with this kind of deal there is a 24 month contract ($150 fee to break the contract).

Byeeeeee!!!!
