Wifi Hotspot for second dwelling 70mtrs away

mnizi: Hi hope someone can help, we have a log cabin on our property which is situated approx 70 mtrs from our house in a direct line through quite a few trees. We are looking to set up a wifi hotspot for the cabin which shares our houses broadband connection. I am considering the Zenbu router for the Hotspot side of things but I'm guessing that this router will only provide a very weak signal or none at all in the cabin as our current wireless N router can not be picked up.
To get around this I was also thinking of purchasing a Ubiquiti NanoStation2 NS2 802.11b/g 400mW Outdoor AP/Bridge and mounting this on a shed about 55mtrs in direct sight with the cabin. If I understand correctly I could run a POE cable (approx 20 mtrs) from the monitored port of the Zenbu router in the house to the Nanostation and this will still give us the hotspot authentication etc were after and hopefully a good wifi signal in the cabin.

Before I spend any money on this setup, does this sound like a logical system that could do what were after or does anyone have any other suggestions? I guess aswell I'm not sure what kind of range you can achieve with these Nanostation AP's so if anyone has used them before it would be great to know.

If this is for a guest hot spot I would recommend Ubiquiti UniFi. It has it's own hotspot system that you can set up to either accept vouchers or have direct credit card and Pay pal billing. You could start off with one outdoor wired access point:

That will run on POE so you can put it up on your shed and run the cable back to your home router. Then if that is not powerful to reach the cable you could install an indoor UniFi (http://www.gowifi.co.nz/ubiquiti-networks/ubiquiti-networks-radios/ubiquiti-unifi-802.11n-access-point.html) in the cabin and use the wireless uplink feature so need to run a cable all the way to the cabin.
The other benefit of UniFi is you can have multiple Wireless LAN's. For example one secured WLAN for your personal use and then an open WLAN for your guests that runs through the captive portal.
Only downside I would say is that if you want to use the UniFi captive portal it needs to be running 24/7 on a computer (doesn't have to be stand alone though) to accept the vouchers/credit cards and authenticate users.
