Hi All,
I am using connection sharing over bluetooth to surf the internet on my pocket PC (belkin USB and CF adaptors) I would like to listen to radio on internet say bbcnews.com. They broadcast live news in RAM format and I was able to listen to it when I used Wi-Fi. But using bluetooth and connection sharing with me desktop lets me download the file and real player says its able to connect but always comes back with "Response Times Out" while loading the file. AM I missing something here. Using ICS do I need to open some port or something to listen to real audio live radio?

Please help.

TIA
Gulshan

Yes, probably you problem is ICS not routing all ports. I know you can configure RealOne on the desktop/laptop to use specific ports, but I'm not sure about the Pocket PC version. It also plays only special media formats, not all of the .ram .rm. .ra available...

One thing I haven't tried is using WinRouter instead of ICS. AFAIK WinRouter is vry good for NAT (including support for VPN, which is not support with ICS on W2k).

I found that for Real Audio I need to open following ports

554 TCP
7070 TCP and
6970-32000 UDP

But how can I do so using MS Internet connnection sharing.

Right-click the adapter connected to the LAN (not the Bluetooth one), and select the Sharing tab. There's an Advanced button there where you can change some settings - but not many!
