I have thought about starting this for a while.

I am always on the look out for new / cool apps and why not get the best use of my smartphone.

There are so many apps out there which do so many things.

What apps do you have?

Share any app / apps you like think is cool / useful / good / funny etc. Post screen shots, write a little comment etc.
***************
My phone is not connected to the internet all the time, some of these apps have adds when the phone is connected to the internet.

Here is my list:

Nz Herald app - Free
Swipe down to refresh latest news, saves it all in phones memory so you can read it later when you are offline.

Dictionary! - Free
Useful and light weight. I preferred it to the dictionary.com app which is bigger in size but may be more extensive in terms of results. Dictionary! is fine in terms of results just sometimes lacks definitions such accepted (it only has accept) which is a non issue.

DoodleBuddy - Free
The most preferred drawing app out of the many that i downloaded. Can take pictures, add smilies, save to image library. Has smudge effect paint brush, pen, stencils etc.

Wikipanion - Free
Have not used it apart from to test it out but it makes browsing wikipedia ALOT easier.

Converter + - Free
Awesome converter app. You can set a favorite list of common conversion or select from the many included. It also updates the latest exchange rates when you are connected to the internet.

Decibel 10 - Free
I do not know how accurate it is but gives you an indication. All decibel measuring apps i downloaded gave a similar reading so it is probably accurate +/- 10 db. This was the one which i preferred the most based on interface but check the others out. Seems about right for what it picks up compared to surrounding noise. Apparently the iphone mic can not pick up 100+ db accurately so it is limited in that respect but cool none the less.

Cube - Free
Referred to as the best free 1st person shooter game for iphone.

Real racing - Free
Racing game. Good graphics for an iphone.

Gt racing motor academy - Free
Referred to as the best free racing game for iphone. Good graphics for an iphone. Similar to gran turismo, you sit driving licenses etc.

3d Mini golf - Free
My most preferred golf app game out of the many i downloaded.

Mx mayhem - Free
These games are fun. Maybe because i played them when i was younger Tap one side of the screen to accelerate the other to brake. Tilt you phone to lean forward / back and see how far you can get without falling off.

Ihandy level - Free
You have probably heard of this. Cool app that turns your phone into a spirit level.

Ruler - Free
Turns your screen into an accurate ruler.

Angry birds - Free
A game. You have probably heard of it.

Just light - Free
If you have a 3g / 3gs this is the most simple basic light app. Just makes your screen white, none of that comes in 50 different colors with new strobe effect rubbish.

Flipboard - Been a long time user of this app and it is hilarious watching Android users trying to run the leaked version and watching it crash. I have yet to see an Android device do the page turns as smoothly as the one on the iPad :)

Onavo. Did you notice any degradation in image quality?

None at all, Some people dislike using Onavo because they're worried that their information will get stolen through the proxy server but I don't do anything like online banking on my iPhone so I'm absolutely fine with it. It also helps save battery life too.

Tks, I may have to give it a go on my 13yo daughters 3GS, cheers for that.

I'd add a couple:

ShopShop - handly, simple shoping list
IMDb - good for a quick look at a movie and now that they've added Metacritic you get a few reviews too
