FIXED!

Ok so I had an incorrect setting in the carrier bundle. Telecom's XT network MCC/MNC is 53005 and I had it set to 53003. Since changing it the phone recognises the carrier bundle.

Loading this has fixed the icon so it now shows 'XT', there are options in the 'Phone Settings' and the APN is set to internet.telecom.co.nz

Can you say that again slowly? How do you get the voicemail button working?

I would be very happy if you could post it:)

Thanks

Yes but it doesn't need to be.

Basically I created a custom Carrier Bundle for Telecom. At the moment an official one doesn't exist because Telecom aren't an official supplier.

The Carrier Bundles contain a number of different things including voicemail number, carrier logos, apns etc etc.

I have updated the first post with the file and details of how to install.

Thanks very much for posting this. I got your file successfully uploaded to my iphone.

Seems to have worked. I see the XT icon now, but I am still not able to txt.

Any ideas as to what might prevent me from being able to txt?

Not sure why you're not able to text. I would check with Telecom or maybe send karenmonksnz an email. She is really helpful and may be able to get someone to look into for you.

Using a Mac or PC makes no difference except you need to hold the option key while clicking 'check for update' instead of 'shift'

Are you getting the dialogue box asking you to select a file?

ah hang on, on a mac it seems to unzip everything. I will re-pack ad repost the file shortly. I'll let you know once it's done.
