Hi everyone

What I am wanting to know is I belong to a church that has a church building and a house on the same property. House and church building both owned by the church. The house has a phoneline going into it whereas the church building doesnt. What my question is are we allowed to run a cable off of the second pair of cables going into the house over to the church building or do we have to have a new line put in completely?

As far as I know you are allowed to run as many phone lines into any premisses as you like. You will need to ask your provider to give you the costs etc.

However, I would seriously consider networking the two premisses and adding new phone lines using VOIP services.

Where is an additional phone line will cost you $40 per month or thereabout, adding a VoIP phone line on top of the broadband that is delivered already will cost you a fraction of that.

Thank you for your reply. The house is being rented out so networking is out of the question but I am certainly looking to put a voip phone line in after we get a phone line with naked broadband on it.
