I have a Slingshot Better Network LLU home line (not VoIP) and am unable to get My Sky to callback for PPV, On Demand and Upgrade Channel services. Whenever I attempt to use these services, the callback to Sky starts but eventually fails with a message to check that a phone line is connected - which it is. Anyone else had this problem?

Lol don't the Mysky units have ethernet port son them? Typical of sky not to be able to use them....

Dialup modems are something that will always be problematic in the VoIP world. Sky and alarm companies are going to be dealing with plenty of unhappy customers if they don't start preparing for the UFB world soon.

The LLU Lines are digital rather than analog so tend to work more like a VoIP line than a standard wholesale line.

Often this will be down to which line profile is configured for this line.

Did you by any chance have an issue with echoing on the line when first put on the LLU homeline?

The Slingshot LLU phone service is effectively just an iTalk line with the ATA at the exchange rather than in your house.

No problem with echo on the line. Is there a different line profile that might work and should I contact the helpdesk about this?
