Hello there. Posting from phone so will keep brief. Sorry if this has been brought up somewhere else - this thing is a pain to use.

Signed up to the $60 plan at the end of March for my new address. The only reason i went with this plan was because I knew I would be moving in October, so the 'no contract' aspect of this plan sold it for me. I carefully went through the registration, made sure that i am not tied to Slingshot and was satisfied that even the fine-print stated that the plan I was selecting was not contractually binding (the naked dsl equivalent of this plan was the only other "no strings" plan according to the fine-print iirc)

I noticed a few weeks afterwards that this fine-print was removed when I was recommending this plan to a friend.

Fast forward to last week when I have to disconnect the Internet here in time for moving out, and my credit card is billed for 145$ without my consent. What gives?! These are not the strings I was looking for.

$145 was for the last 2 months of service that I had not paid. Payments were automatically taken from my credit card (everyday account), so chances are I had a lower balance than required to pay both months. Had no idea this happened. No termination fee was charged and slingshot was helpful in resolving this for me without making me feel like a dumbass.
