I've been having really bad ping issues with slingshot since 4 pm yesterday, wondering if anyone was experiencing the same issues in the bay of plenty or its just me. Anyways, I've reset my router about 6 times since yesterday and my laptop as well about the same number of times to no avail. Although the ping went down to 15-20ms in speedtest.net while testing with REAP-ISP in taupo, But now its gone back to 250-300ms ping and seems to be forcing to Rotorua. So help would be much appreciated guys.

I'm having the same issue (started same time etc). In Rotorua with Slingshot on unlimited. Assuming this is Bay of Plenty only, since I haven't seen anyone else having the same issue. Here's a trace:

Tracing route to ns.tranzpeer.net [202.180.64.9]

over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 1 ms 2 ms 1 ms 192.168.1.1
2 364 ms 340 ms 304 ms 202.180.81.26
3 22 ms 10 ms 11 ms p69.pool-82.callplus.net.nz [202.180.82.69]
4 55 ms 61 ms 54 ms vlan7-cpcak3-s1.tranzpeer.net [202.180.81.49]
5 384 ms 444 ms 378 ms ns.tranzpeer.net [202.180.64.9]

Trace complete.

Traces have been similar all morning...

Great to know its just not me suffering from the high ping, mine seems to be better now, although i reckon its going to get high again in a few hours.
