I am using SPA 2102 for my italk but i am not getting proper caller ID its shows as 06421XXXXX or 0649XXXX . Is that the right format or it should only be 021xxxxx Thanks

One would make the assumtion that your analogue phone is adding the 0 at the start, as is required by Telepermit specifications. If your VoIP provider includes the 0 or sends calls in E.164 format you'll want to look up your phone manual to see if it offers the ability to disable adding the 0. *Need help configuring your Linksys ATA or IP Phones for New Zealand? The phone is Panasonic it never use to happen when I was with world exchange but since I shifted to I talk it's like this

pankajbanga: The phone is Panasonic it never use to happen when I was with world exchange but since I shifted to I talk it's like this iTalk obviously send numbers in the E.164 format (64xxxxxxx). if this annoys you you would have to ask iTalk why they send numbers in this format. You can add or remove the 0 by looking at your phone manual, most have the ability to reconfifre the option. *Need help configuring your Linksys ATA or IP Phones for New Zealand? Check my blog post

I have a related issue. I noticed that on some incoming calls the caller ID is prefixed with 6464, i.e. 64649xxxxxxx. This is happening on any handset connected to the VOIP ATA. Both landline and mobile numbers are affected. I also use the 3CX softphone and this too shows the prefix 6464 on the affected incoming calls. If I connect any of the handsets directly to the wall outlet via the ADSL filter and dial our LLU number then the CID shown is just 649xxxxxxx. I have tried our Uniden cordless phone base unit and also the phone attached to our Brother Fax/Scanner/Printer. Both show the double 64 prefix when connected to the ATA. All international calls are also prefixed with a 64. I've had to add the following into my ATA's dial plan in order to remove the 64 prefix's so as that we can return calls directly from the CID info. <6464:0>xx.\|<64:0>xx.\| Any ideas as to why I may be getting the 6464 prefix on certain calls and the 64 prefix on international calls? This is the setting from your ATA . Set you ata properly and you will be fine
