So Flatmate just signed up to Slingshot unlimited, and I've tried with no avail to get the slingshot provide Netcomm Modem Router (NB304-NZ) to play nice with my TP Link wireless router (TL WR941ND) that has been happily sharing our Telstra cable connection for years.

Any one have experience that can give me an idiot proof guide to getting it all to play nicely in bridge mode and give me wireless Internet back please?

Tried the first link on Google which is a good PDF on the Netcomm website detailing how to do this?

Enable IP extension on the netcomm and then just set the tp-link's WAN to obtain an address by DHCP

I don't think the modem you got supports IP Extension mode. You need to get a Dynalink/NetComm RTA1320 or RTA1320 rev 2.

You can try to pick up one from TradeMe.

If you want to use full bridge mode, you need to get a Draytek Vigor 120 which does PPPoA to PPPoE.  Then you can use your TP-Link router in PPPoE mode to do the authenication.

Cheers!

I had come to that conclusion, have set it up as a modem router and just connected to lan sode of TP link to connect the lan and wifi to the network. Working ok.
