After being told I was connect at lunch time I spent about 30min trying to config router but would not work so called help desk and they said all was good at there end an must be my modem. I dis agreeded but was insisted to try another modem. So to save hassle I took a 30min drive to mates house to borrow his and try that. Still same issue would not connect.
Rang call center again this evening and this time they said it was becase they had not activated my account correctly. Well what a waste of time all that was.
Now its finally working and I know they throttle speeds but man im getting 28 KB/sec maybe maxing at 80 KB/sec if im lucky in IDM for fileserve file. On Snap the slowest I ever got was 900 KB/sec and normally it was much faster than that.
Can anyone on this plan tell me do they throttle speeds like this 24/7 or is it worse in the evening. Cause this seems excessive throttling.
