Anyone else having problems with TV3 on-demand on the AYCE plan? The pre-roll runs fine, but as soon as you get to the actual stream you get this error:

Been like this for ~month. I've been unable to contact mediaworks about it, no one gets back to me.

oh yeah, the content is provided by Telstraclear, so that may be the problem..

I'm not on the AYCE plan, but I did used to get this error some months ago. I gave up since then, but seeing your thread I've just tried to watch James May's Man's Lab and it played fine.

If you haven't already logged the issue with Slingshot, you could do so as per instructions here:

-or-

as per "Slingshot's" reply above.

It seems Slingshot are becoming a lot more proactive with their customer service, which is a fantastic thing to see!

Pretty much any video on TV3 on-demand. Here's a few that dont work for me:

http://ondemand.tv3.co.nz/7-Days-Season-3-Ep-28/tabid/59/articleID/4603/MCat/52/Default.aspx

and a few random ones:

http://ondemand.tv3.co.nz/James-Mays-Man-Lab---Episode-1/tabid/59/articleID/4565/MCat/422/Default.aspx

3news works fine, radiolive video works fine, its just tv3/four on-demand. Tried it on Windows 64bit, 32bit, Linux, reinstalled flash numerous times, firewall, antivirus, etc

I live in Japan and have a 200mb fiber connection and I get this error message all the time.
The issue is not with your connection but the atrocious TV3 website.

Sometimes video will load without problem but more often than not you will get this message.

If you keep hitting the reload button it will eventually play - the only hassle is having to sit through the pre-roll advertising over and over again.

Huh? I was under the impression that TV3 OnDemand content would be regionally restricted.
I wouldn't have thought you could even get TV3 OnDemand content in Japan?

most content is restricted but a lot of local shows are not regionally restricted (campbell live etc . . .)

I get this error for the 300k version and interestingly also get a quick error abour my IP being international ?

I tried the 700k version and this loaded however.

Have you tried the 700 and had the same or different results ?

I tried playing 7 days last week and had the same issue, just tried a couple of other shows and they don't work either. (Slingshot AYCE here btw).

I've tried both 300k and 700k versions and they don't work.

the screenshot above indicates that it was the 700k version that the original poster was trying to view.

I get the error with both settings

Interesting.

I'll try to do some more testing on this issue tomorrow and see if I can isolate whether it is indeed the TV3 website (I hear terrible things...) or if it is something we can improve on our end.

I am also on AYCE and have been having this problem with TV3 on demand for at least the last week or so, i thought it was just me but looks like it is a more widespread issue.
