Since I have decomissioned my firewall/asterisk box I have no idea on usage, and the slingshot web interface doesnt give me any numbers, is there any other place that I can get that from at all?

You can get this information under Visibill however it wont show the current usage only last months usage.
The Unlimited plan is intended for users who do not want to worry about data caps thus its not displayed in the main account.

PS: No one wins a price for the largest amount of data downloaded per month.

Correct, there is no way to see your usage on the unlimited plan, until the end of the month.

This also means call centre staff cannot tell you this, unless they pull your entire log set and add it all up hour by hour.

You can see your current usage for the AYCE/BB Unlimited plans in Visibill

Change the billing period to "Current Bill Period" from the Select Month drop down box in Visibill

Then select Internet Data Usage

And it will show you

Visibill doesn't default to the Current Bill Period, thats why you never see it.
