Slingshots website says free calling area in Auckland is now bigger... but all it does is link you through to a page with per minute costs for calls national/international.

No Auckland stuff there...
Can someone please explain?

Just a guess, but probably calling within the whole super city is now counted as 'local' rsather than just the old style LCAs

NonprayingMantis is correct :)

We have extended the Auckland local calling region for the Auckland Super City. Now, calls between Warkworth, Hibiscus Coast, Helensville, Auckland City, Pukekohe and Great Barrier Island are now free calls.

In order to qualify for this deal, you will need to be on either our Talk-A-Lot or Talk Longer toll plan. If you're not sure what toll plan you are on you you can see this in the top right hand corner of you Slingshot Bill, under Toll Plan.

That's cool to hear.

Can you please have someone write that on the website? The image is kind of useless when theres no explanation to give it context... :)
