Move to another provider if you don't like the service?

Slingshot are slow and hopeless, it's either amazingly poor speed or they just don't do anything, I waited over 3 months for them to do nothing when changing a year & half ago. It was always we'll call you back, it will only be 2 days, oh I will check it for you, same story, different day.

Luckily while waiting I had my existing Telecom connection running.

Hi I had a month and a half delay while they changed me over. It was a chorus issue not a Slingshot issue. I would ring them back and ask to speak to a manager it worked for me to get regular feedback.

I refuse to believe Chorus could be solely responsible for a 6 week porting delay.

Out of curiosity how why what caused the issue? My job involves number ports on a near daily basis so I'm curious as to how Chorus, as a network owner who isn't a retail service provider could hold up a porting request for so long.

Porting delays of several months aren't uncommon with Slingshot / 2talk /iTalk and yet I process hundreds and hundreds per year and typically have a 1-3 day timeframe for these.

Hi cws82us

If you PM me your account details I will look into this for you,

Chours should not have anything to do with a number port and 2talk are a wholesale cust of ours so its likely on our network already,

Thanks,
Joe.
