Not sure if the help thing ever accepted the query because I cant find an email from it about it, it seems to like to not actually submit in the past when I have used it so there is a good chance that it didnt.

In anycase the username is the same as here. Been getting charged $51 for the landline and $80 for unlimited since it was put on there in December.

I would like to pay the bill but don't want to till I am re-invoiced correctly.

Also I was under the impression that if you are adding GST exempt items to an invoice like a late payment fee that you were required to show the total GST paid on the invoice, which it does not.

Got a letter from slingshot about the overdue, still nothing about the overcharging.

I received two overcharged bill last year too, paid those bills on time.
I called them later, and they credited me the amount back towards my next monthly bill.
It is probably better to pay them first before the due date, then wait for the problem to be solved :p

Slingshot like you to pay over the internet, witch for silly old people like my dad who won't use his credit card online is a bit silly, by the time we get the bill he's received one of slingshots lovely emails threatening to disconnect our service.

He could get the bill as an email and then pay it at a westpac. That's what my 70's old manage to do.

I guess because Slingshot is a residential service that they don't really worry when they bill too much as it will be credited and ignore the paperwork.

Hi Richard,

Very sorry no one has contacted you! They were told to correct this and let you know on the 12th!

I have credited the entire balance of your account due to the mucking around.

Thanks,
Joe.

Thanks for the massive credit, but I have just got the invoice and I have again being billed $51 for the landline and $80 for the broadband unlimited plan, not $41 and $60.

So now I am having to "do taxes" and stuff, I am looking at invoices etc.

And it seems that I never was fixed off the $51 and $80 prices, just changing to a single $121 charge when I moved to the "better network"

Ah well. Contacting them now and have also asked to move it to naked dsl since I think I have used the line once for a fax and then never again.

Just FYI, but I'm pretty sure late payment fees are no longer gst exempt as of very recently.
