I have been running with Orcon Genius Lite for some time now and aside from the usual issues things have been OK.
Recently I purchased a 2.4Ghz wireless video baby monitor. Not sure if this is the cause or it is coincidental?
So, the devices I have using the Genius' WiFi and corresponding problems I am now encountering are -
Sony Vaio Laptop (VPCEB13FG); Used to show constant full WiFI signal and never drop. Now, Shows 3 Bars at the most, usally only 2 and drops out but still shows signal.
Samsung GS2; Shows constant full signal, drops out more often than Vaio, signal remains showing full but cannot find any webpages or view FB etc.
Android TV box (mini); Exactly same probs as SGS2
iPhone 3G; Seems to function OK. (Its my GF's and she cant really give me a straight answer as to how often it flicks from WiFi to Roaming Data while shes home.)
Now< to me it would make a lot more sense if all devices were dropping out at the same time but that is not the case. My GF can be on the PC and having no issues but I try to go on facebook via SGS2 and I cant connect.
It seems like maybe it is the baby monitor, however if I unplug the monitor unit the same problems still occur.
Is it possible that the wireless cameras could be doing this??
Note; I have run WiFi analyzer on SGS2 and there are no other signals interfering.. So I could see anyway.
Thanks to all who have read this long and tedious question.. Its driving me nuts.
All help and suggestions much appreciated.
