Hi There,

I purchased an HDHomeRun Dual DVB-T tuner and connected it to my network via a TP-Link router/ switch.

Using the HDHomeRun_Config_Gui application which I downloaded from SiliconDust on my Macbook I am getting a signal but cannot pick up any channels. I have the tuners configued to Euro-BC which I think is the right choice for NZ.

I also tried EyeTV (latest version) with all the options for "antenna" and DVB-T and DVB-C but no channels found.

I suspect this is because I have a satelite dish aerial and not a UHF aerial?

I plugged in a small rabbit ears UHF/ VHF antenna but still no joy.

Can anyone help me here? Is it a config issue or do I need a UHF aerial to use this to pick up DVB-T signals? Sorry, I am a newbie to all this.

Can somebody please point me in the right direction?

I have a Freeview box which works fine with the current house aerial but it's a dish box I think???

Thanks in advance for your help.
Cheers,
Steve

You need a UHF aerial for DVB-T.

Thanks guys,

Yes, it looks like I need a UHF aerial and I checked the Freeview site which says I should be able to get Freeview HD (I live in Eastern Beach, Auckland).

Cheers,
Steve
