Thanks to Mike Hayton we now have the Guide specs availalable for MC. As part of those specs there is support for Channel Logos and one kind soul at TGB has released a little app to add them into the guide. http://thegreenbutton.com/forums/permalink/333270/333270/ShowThread.aspx#333270

The latest version of MyChannelLogos is available at www.mychannellogos.com

If you want the Channel Logos I've created you can download them here

I think it looks pretty nice.

For any other logos (such as Sky) Lyngsat is the place to look.

Nice stuff... I will load this up on my system.

I see you have the EPG fully populated. Are you running a dual (DVB-S and DVB-T system)?

Yes, I have one of my HV-4000's setup for DVB-S. The HVR-2200 and the other HVR-4000 are setup for DVB-T.

I've been playing around with this over the past couple of days and I'm not convinced with this new functionality.  I find the icons just too small on my 40 inch LCD TV.  Nothing wrong with my eyesight, and I'm using the logos posted by rhysb which are the best I've found so far.

So for the time being I've reverted to the text names.  I always thought this functionality would be cool, but given the real estate available, it just doesn't work for me.  But on the flipside, I wouldn't want the guide to display any less info either.

Really nice...

Any chance to have Chinese TV and Freeview | HD demo logos added to the file?

They were I thought.  And how much Chinese TV do you watch anyway?  :p

I don't watch any - but it's there in the TV Guide regardless, annoying me while all other channels have nice colourful logos...

Fair enough.  I just chose not to have Chinese TV in my guide at all because I don't understand it.  Although that does not explain why I have Parliament TV in my guide then...ha ha ha.

I've added the Freeview|HD logo as an alternative to the Kordia HD Demo one for you Smile

I've tried to optimize the size of the colour logos, hopefully they are a little easier to read now.

Also if you want to swap between the colour and white ones you can just copy and past them into the C:\ProgramData\MyChannelLogos directory.

Oh I do say those new colour logos look much better now, to the point where I might just reconsider using them for my EPG!  Now all I need to do is bumble my way through the Sky logos and make them look just as good.

If I do make a decent job of this I will be sure to post them for others to use.

Thanks mate!

Already had a hack at the Sky Logo's

These are very much WIP.  Still playing with the colours and trying to get something acceptable for movies and sport...

I'll email them through...

How do you feel about if the logos where in the middle of the channel cell. That is, it went channel number, logo, callSign (from left to right)?

Hmmm. I quite like the logos right aligned to the cell...
