Yea - it does nothing in this part of the world. I believe its of use when changing between multiple providers (especially in europe where they see many hundreds of channels). It speeds up the selection process and allows for faster channel changes and decoding, especially where multiple cards/encryption standards are used.
In essence with either Foxtel or Sky NZ these are simply a single provider - channel change speeds aren't really an issue.
The only files you need in the plugins folders are the ACamd.dll, and the cardclient.conf.
Once you run it, it will generate its own Acamd.ini file, and also the chcache.ini file, once its connected to NewCS.
