th3r3turn: i think the word we should be looking at is "usage". Thinking something to do with data.

unlimited data plans maybe?

I hope not. 'Unlimited' plans have turned out to be disingenuous in the US market, and would probably put excessive load on the network which penalises those who require only limited amounts of data.

freitasm: You folks are so off. The answer is there in big letters.

only big letters are CEO ;)

Perhaps big letters as one of those oldperson phones with really big letters?

Their big logo from the ad is a number, not a letter.

comeon mauritio, more hints please ;)

langi27: Homezone...........

You select a zone (your home) that you cna get free calling from, like a landline doing local calls.
.....(edit)..... my guess is that its coming.............that would make you use your handset a whole lot more.

Vodafone had this too some years back, soo I doubt it would now revolutionise usage.

When is the press event? the Samsung count down has ended and it looks like the site crashed so hope it wasn't tied to that.

I really doubt the 2degrees event is linked to the S3...

The teaser wasn't really much in the end, just a video and a stab at Apple

Well 2degrees eventually removed the placeholder page "Touch2pay with Snapper Mobile" an hour after I posted the link (plus one called "2degrees Shared Data" under "Pay Monthly")

Why push Touch2pay when all three telcos are making a unified payment platform?

I don't know, but maybe because...
  • this one is just linked to Snapper card credit and not credit cards/banks etc?
  • Snapper separately developed a platform and wanted a mobile telco to launch their own product? (Never heard of "Snapper Mobile" before)
NFC on tags, for payment, as bus cards etc. I look forward to using NFC for anything, because it still hasn't really taken off in Australia/New Zealand.

iPad + iPhone 4S + 2degrees 3G data 4tw!

These comments are my own and do not represent the opinions of 2degrees.
