Hi Is it possible to block someone (another 2 degrees customer, with 021 prefix) from calling or txting you? If so, do they get a message saying they are blocked or what happens when they try to call or txt you. Ideally I wouldn't want any notification that they had called or txt and I wouldn't want them sent to voicemail either. I believe Vodafone are the only carrier to offer this service, and it only applies to SMS and MMS. *Need help configuring your Linksys ATA or IP Phones for New Zealand? Check my blog post

In cyanogen mod you can blocks calls, but I think they get put to voice mail. There is android app I found that will answer + immediately hang up calls from a black list. There is a call rejection option on ICS 4.0.3, you can add numbers etc.

johnr: Do not reply to any of the SMS as this will not go in your favour Thanks. That's right. If you're reporting nuisance or 'bullying' texts or calls we can't investigate them if they're replied to, as it'll be an 'argument'. If they are threatening, call the police immediately. ^POB

If you have an Android device you can blacklist numbers that text by using an app called Go SMS Pro. There is also an app called Call Blocker Apple: Have it their way Android: Have it your way
