I put through a number porting application Wed. apfternoon. my old 021 number was disconnected in the morning of next day, but it hasn't been transfered sucessfully so far. nobody i lost contact in the last 3 days.i rang 2D up  5 times, was told it's in process all the time. but nothing happened.  i gave up to ring these useless reps.
i'm not happy at all.
who's able to tell me what's going on here and how to get the issue sloved ASAP???

What exactly is the issue? Can you make calls? Can you receive calls? If so, who can or cannot you receive calls from?

I applied to port my 021 to 2d 3 days ago.it's still in process. The previous network provider cut the connection off next day,but the number was not transfered. I rang 2d 5 times, nobody was able to get the issue sorted.just asked me to wait.

redheart:
but the number was not transfered

Yes, I get that. But, I need to know exactly what doesn't work. You did ask who could sort it out. I might be able to. But only if you describe the issue fully.

just curious
did you restart your phone after the porting?
Usually the porting only takes 2-3 hours....

Have you put a 2degrees SIM into the phone?

Ok, I think we should post the questions here in order:

- Have you restarted the phone with the 2degrees SIM?
- Once restardted does the phone shows as attached to a network or does it show a SIM error?
- If the phone shows a network connection, are you able to place calls?
- If the phone shows a network connection, are you able to receive calls?
- If you can place calls but not receive, have you tried from different networks (Telecom landline, Telecom mobile, Vodafone mobile, 2degrees mobile)? Which ones worked, which ones didn't?

Reply here and SaltyNZ will be your contact.

thanks guys
the actual issue is my 021 number was not transfered to my 2D sim card sucessfully. i rang 2D again yesterday, i was told there's a problem on skinny(previous network) side. then i dropped them a call, they accepted the transfer and released the number. i tried to ring 2D to tell them just 10 minutes ago, but olny music i could listen. i assumed lack of reps worked on Sunday. i have no idea what i can do about this at the moment.
it seems just half way of the process was done. i pushed 2D serval times, they have nice attitude but bad result.

Sounds like the issue is not on the 2Degrees side and the routing of your calls and SMS / MMS are not leaving the Skinny (Telecom NZ) network

2Degrees hands are tied in this case

Right, PM me your number and I will try to get it sorted. I don't have a contact at Skinny but I will find someone who knows.
