4.1.1 here on 2degrees S3. Everything really is quite a lot more fluid and lovely, although quite a lot of the things mentioned here http://www.android.com/about/jelly-bean/ seem to be hidden behind the Samsung skin which hasn't changed much (calendar, camera and so on).

Google Now is cool, just have to figure out how to get some more cards to show up.

Wait.... (for the Google Now cards). I love that it tells me how far away I am from home, timewise.

I wish I could, I need the snapper Touch2Pay thing to work. God damn it 2degrees!!

Ok, I have reset and tried 4 times now. I have flashed the old 2degrees official rom and it has done the 20 MB update, will try again now and see. Otherwise I will take it to the shop and get them to deal with it.

I must say that i can't really see much, if any, difference in the smoothness of things.  After coming from an old HTC Magic on Gingerbread I found the S3 fantastic for speed and response.  Maybe my eyes are too old to notice any improvement.

I too looked at that list of new JB features and couldn't see any difference in the camera, gallery and other places that were meant to have been improved.

I had a play with Google Now, mainly asking it questions, and it was pretty good.  I'm not sure how handy the cards feature will be for me as it seems to use your web history a lot to find things out about you but I tend to do most of my web surfing on my desktop or net-book.

One thing I did stumble on that was a nice little improvement was the screen you get when there are two or more apps that can complete an action and you haven't set a default.  You can now tell it to use one of the apps always or just once.
