johnr: Not always but when issues happen it helps,

I have done the backup and reset. Still stops at 25% and says update failed :(

Time to flash 4.1.2 Tongue Out

I wish I could, I need the snapper Touch2Pay thing to work. God damn it 2degrees!!

Ok, I have reset and tried 4 times now. I have flashed the old 2degrees official rom and it has done the 20 MB update, will try again now and see. Otherwise I will take it to the shop and get them to deal with it.

Step1 grab your siii
Step2 grab a snapper card
Step3 put snapper car on back of phone
Step4 put a case over the phone and card

Presto latest os
Fully functioning on the 2degrees network
Able to snap on and off the bus with your phone

Problem.solved

Is that with Android 4.1.2 ?? which Rom are you talking about?

Polish international rom which is the premium suite, look it up.if your curious. The polish rom was intended for westurn.europe and england

It doesn't include the SIM Alliance API, but, as a developer I found a way to INJECT that API into my android 4.1.2, and I can do this for any ROM as long as you have root access. It's working now :)

Muahahahahahahahahhaa

THey are two totally different things.

You can install the Snapper app on a large number of phones that have NFC and will be able to read a card balance with this.

To be able to use your phone as a Snapper card you need the API installed, which is not part of the Polish release.

That's 100% true, however, I have fixed both issues, installed the app and the API :D

I have the file "APK", you need to copy it to the System\app folder and change its permission then restart. Using Root explorer.

It's called"org.simalliance.openmobileapi.service-99b2b5405248e780c1e99648b792d8f4.apk" which is also called "SmartCardService"

Permissions? Are you able to host it somewhere?

4.1.1 finally here..Great. Now on to the next one 4.1.2 What I want is Multi View.
The 4.1.1 firmware CSC NZCDLK3 is on sammobile. Under the details, lists the regions Austria Belgium France etc for this CSC. The Polish 4.1.2 lists the same regions as our 4.1.1 does. Does the mean I can flash the 4.1.2 with no worries and problems and it will work fine on 2D. Thanks for any and all replies

Should work, but if you're going to do these sorts of things you need to to be wary of turning your phone into an expensive brick. There was a thread on here a few days ago from somebody who has unfortunately bricked their phone with the Polish firmware.
