Just noticed that it looks like the visual voicemail screen is working, can you DL your voicemail through it?

Where is the visual voicemail screen?  On the phone "app" - I hit voicemail on mine and it just calls the mailbox.

Yet, who are you using for your developers? Monkeys? I only say because iPhone/android apps do not take that long, but if you are building visual voicemail it can't take that long. Unless they haven't been started and when you say yet, you really mean we haven't begun to think about it yet :P

Of *course* I am thinking about it. :-)

I tell you what: if you want visual voicemail sooner rather than later, the best bet is to let customer care know. The bottom line is that it costs money, so it won't get done if it doesn't *make* money, especially not yet while we are still not cash-flow positive. So: get a bunch of people to complain about it to care.

VVM would be the point of difference that I think would just tip me to change to 2D.

See, that's the kind of thing that care needs to know. :-)

Hey SaltyNZ, I'd love to help if I can. I don't have any spare monkeys lying around, but I do have Dexter the Wonder Beagle who I'd be happy to provide for some pro boneo* dev work.

*its like pro bono, but you'd traditionally give him a cannon bone to say thanks once he's made his final check-in to your SCM system.

That's what visual voicemail looks for me currently, have a voicemail message but doesn't appear. Would be great to be able to use it. Hopefully it means 2degrees might become an official iPhone carrier sometime soon?

I want free voicemail, family plans, 0800 numbers, mms plans and the ability to get more than 1gb of national data for my plan; then you guys would be a decent mobile operator.

How about:

* We pay YOU for voicemail
* Extended family including long lost uncles
* 0801 numbers
* Do people still use MMS?
* SaltyNZ will personally deliver the internet to you with a certificate of authenticity

People still use MMS? Yes they do, they would use it more if it wasn't 20c a message!

Same but mms is like a text. Most people use text, email and facebook. Yet phones send text messages more than ever before.

I use email, facebook or an app (imessage, whatsapp, ect) to send pictures now days, unless its really urgent to get a photo to someone I may use mms. Family plans or even a family option like Vodafone Family would be a great idea to add in.
