Hey All

My phone on 2degrees has been showing voda nz 3G driving from howick to manukau. Drove from whitford to howick earlier where it normally roams on voda but switches back to native 2deg back in Howick.

Am now in Manukau and receiving full voda 3g signal. The phone has said vodafone even driving from Howick to Manukau as mentioned above.

Surely in the middle of manukau and driving down te irirangi drive there are no roaming voda cells for 2degrees?

I had a similar experience about a year ago.

Drove north of AK to Silverdale where my phone roamed to VF and when I returned to AK the phone didn't switch back to 2Degrees. At home, deep in 2 degrees territory, I cycled power and it booted up on 2 Degrees and, as you would normally expect, wouldn't let me manually select VF for the network. I didn't try voice but data worked correctly the whole time, so it wasn't any kind of hassle.

Some kind of curious roaming glitch?
