How about it 2degrees? 60 mins calling, 5000 texts and 500mb for $19/$20 a month.

Would be a good response to Telecom's latest offering

Sure 2Degrees are going to jump on a public forum and advise what plans / changes are coming in the future!

Maybe they should post notes from staff meetings all over the internet as well,

Obviously 2degrees posting any possible changes to plans would be stupid, much like posting the secret ingredients of Whittakers chocolate etc, but we have to get them thinking.

I would much rather stay with 2degrees though then touch Telecom or Vodafone (no offence)

And forget the notes from meetings, surely everyone would much rather read the conversations had by the water cooler ;)

You seem to be giving their marketing team very little credit if you think that it needs you posting on this forum to make them aware of Telecom’s new offer and be thinking about a response.

A hint would be a good idea, otherwise people will just jump ship. I'm planning to if I don't hear anything.

I'd rather prefer more data than TXT's when i don't spend my life texting. 5000 in a month? sheesh!

That would be why the one with 300MB of data doesn't have 5000 texts.

iPad + iPhone 4S + 2degrees 3G data 4tw!

Need more data upto 500mb would be great. 300mb a month is just not enough with these new smartphones now.

Well that would depend on your usage! My sister has a smart phone and uses just over 200MB at month

I only do the odd browse on facebook. Update sometimes apps on google play & i don't have many apps! I don't do any streaming as that sucks up the traffic. I don't download any music or vids.
Google play is probably the most i use in just browsing than downloading that i do with data.

I have a on/off switch to shut off data to the phone when it's on standby as some apps still use data when not in use.

So i'm not a big user either in data. I'm afraid to because of the 300mb. 1 Gig data pack is just to much of a waste for me as i've tried it one time.

Data usage is like hard disk storage. The more you have, the more you find to fill it up with. You'd probably find if you had the 1GB pack every month that after a few months, you'd decide you couldn't possibly get by with less than 1GB any more. :-)

Exactly, it changes usage habits.

Heck knows how I used to get by on 50mb of data each month. 1gb is a lot more comfortable...

I get 1.5GB of data and most months I barely use 500mb.

This has been relatively unchanged for a few years now, it's slowly creeping up but I don't find I expand my usage to my data cap.
