When will 2degrees offer more national data?

Either through bumping our 1gb per month national data packs up to a pleasant 2gb or offering some add on packs that are more than 100mb per time?

Plans come with 1GB national data for free AFAIK.

Yes I have this as part of my $80 plan but as tech keeps moving along surely we can start having more options than the 100mb for $10 addons

I guess for most people 1GB is sufficient and we live in a democracy so majority wins. Would be interesting to see figures on what percentage of users actually use their data allowance and how much.

On a different note I hate this new way of spelling more (moar), its just teaching bad habbits in my opinion. Rant over.

Ha I do too but strangely used it for the first time in this very thread.

It works ion the context though. Think of someone screaming 'Need moar data!'

I see MOAR as a Portmanteau of ROAR and more, it does not devalue either word and should not be a direct substitute for more.

Just like smog was a new word created from smoke and fog,

Was that "habits" or did you mean "hobbits" or is this another new way of spelling?

Can you elaborate more on this?

BB Zones will be obsolete? 12GB data packs available nationwide? How do you know this?

Hey. There's not much I can say, but now that 92% of nz is covered, they might as well bring the barrier down and that's the plan next year. $29 plans are supposed to get 512mb along with unlimited sms on all plans in november, I'm not sure if this is a bonus or permanent.

They have 92% coverage of NZ? Where do you get that from?

92% of where people live I would assume.

I was at the wind farm south west of WGTN the other day... no 2D coverage... but good VF/XT. Couldn't roam on VF either... Had to borrow a friends XT phone.

Sorry 92% of the population.

Meh, I was at west wind yesterday, its nice to be out of coverage. Do you think 2degrees are going to spend 200k+ to service about 10 people and their dog in Ohariu Valley? That area is part of the Wellington region which roaming on to vodafone is locked out.

Is this based on information or speculation?

Getting rid of broadband zones would certainly make them more competitive in the market.
