Pay Monthly accounts are single connections only and the individual signing up is credit checked. Pay Monthly accounts can usually be set up in a matter of minutes.

Business accounts can have multiple connections under a single account and the business signing up is credit checked. Signing up to a Business plan takes a bit longer, usually at least three days, depending on the credit check required (e.g. if you've been trading less than 12 months you need to provide additional trade references). Individuals can't sign up for a business account unless you're actively trading as a sole trader.

Once you're set up with a Business account, each of the connections under the account get free group calling.

Let me know if you need any further info, or flick me a message and I'll help you get signed up.

hmm i don't meet the criteria as business then ... unless i create a company :)

well you could still help though -

can you help me sign my wife to take over my first plan without incurring any penalty (plan is under 30 days old. the plan was for her coz i used her as a guinea pig. i have a number i need to port. signing the wife up onto a new plan will mean i won't be able to port my number over)

then sign me up on a plan

will that work. look i am not asking anyone to bend over backwards and sacrifice their precious time for my little problem. i can easily stay on vf or move to telecom, or even go prepay 2d so it's not like i'm going to lose a leg or anything haha

It's a bit tricky, but possible to achieve what you want. You'd need to call Customer Care on 0800 022 022 and they should be able to talk you through the process.

But could you not just sign up your new connection in your wife's name? So she would use your connection, and you'd use hers? The bills would have the wrong names on them but you could get them emailed to the right email address. Just an option.

Her name on the account won't allow porting my number which has my name on it. Don't want a new number by any means

port your number onto the account that has your name on it, then give her a new number or port her old one (if that's even possible)

Ok, this is somewhat complicated - putting the legalities aside for the moment.

You could bring your number over using your own credentials and sign up for a plan using your wifes. The issues with this is the bills will have the wrong name and when you sign into Your 2degrees it will have different names for both of you.
Future issues could result when calling customer care for support and most importantly if you and your wife split then things could get nasty.

Alternately the fix is somewhat complicated as our systems will recognise that you have already had a credit check with us and will prevent you from signing up to another account.
If you are ready to bring your (true) number over I can arrange to have this done in concert with you whilst fixing up your wifes account at the same time - it will take a good 24hours to have it all tidied up.
DM me you and you wifes details and I can progress/arrange this with you.
