On a whim (aka while bored) I purchased a Linux VPS from a provider in the US to have a play. I've since built it up and reinstalled it a few dozen times and played with various control panels and services. Now I'm looking for suggestions as to what to actually do with it... I have been contemplating turning it into a file server and using it for automatic backups, or running a VPN through it to access US content (the hosts allows/supports VPN's). I don't need a webhosting platform as I've already got another reliable provider for that. Any other suggestions/thoughts? Anything dodgy is out (torrents, p0rn, warez etc). I've got 50 GB storage / 2 GB Ram / 1 Tb bandwidth. Being on holiday while injured, coupled with an empty CC to play with is a dangerous combination. Thanks,

1 Tb only? That's not much... For any others looking to play around without spending a lot, check out lowendbox for some very cheap deals - just bear in mind, you get what you pay for!
