Yeah, 16, 0.0, well; 15, 0.0 (is 1ms difference in latency considered a change?)

I'm still in my first 10 days post connection period tho...

Nah its only 1ms/8ms/16ms latency profiles. Not sure why it connects with a slightly different value.

This is how the profiles are setup.

1ms/0INP

8ms/0INP
8ms/1INP
8ms/2INP
8ms/4INP

16ms/0INP
16ms/1INP
16ms/2INP
16ms/4INP

Ok, so I've been on the same profile for nearly 5 days. Do the Chorus docs say anything about how often the profiles should change in the first 10 days?

Yea its every day for the first week. But to allow upto 10days. Sounds like DLM has settled you on that profile.

DLM is still monitoring the line so don't worry. It should change soon, hopefully :)

hmm, it hasn't changed since I re-did my cabling last, do you think I should do a manual resync or leave it?

Yea i would leave it. Manual resync will not trigger a profile change. DLM has a time window in which it will change the profile.

4:12am -6-12am

DLM is not allowed to change the profile outside this set time.

Hmm, ok, so since I was on 8, 0.0 but am now on 16, 0.0, after cabling changes dropped my atten. by 1db and my errors by ~1750 per minute, any ideas why would my profile not change down to at least 8, 0.0?

I'm going to start a dedicated 'VDSL Performance Tuning' thread, probably tomorrow, to have one place to record all this type of info.

That's what mine was like before I disconnected all the other jackpoints.

Well... my Fritz re-synced last night:

I'm down to 8ms latency, but sync is lower, errors are back up to their 2k/min rate and attenuation is back up to 10!  Also INP is now at 2.0!  So much for the cabling changes!

:(

I've seen every single VDSL circuit that I've worked on throw up that many errors, It's not uncommon.
I haven't found it to be service effecting as of yet.
