Looking at changing from vodafone to Snap naked vdsl.

If I want to keep my phone number what is the process? Do I change it to 2talk first and then change my broadband over or do I complete the online details with snap and wait until the naked dsl connection is completed?

I don't really want to have downtime if I can avoid it.

Second question, what is the Fritz phone like that Snap can provide? Is there better for the money ($138)

I changed to 2talk first, once that was all done then I got my VDSL :) :) (Note: I was already a snap customer on ADSL already tho)

I moved my Broadband first and then ported my number. I was on Telecom so needed the phone for the BB. If I ported the number it would disconnect the BB and there would be down time. Snap took control of the BB and left me with a telecom landline. Then I ported the number and was left with just naked broadband.

edit: The price they are selling the Fritzbox for is a massive bargain. Don't think you will find anything cheaper with that amount of features.
