SNAP Launches Ultra-Fast Broadband Plans

New Zealand’s top-rated Internet provider SNAP is pleased to announce today their new Ultrafast Broadband (UFB) plans for residential and small business users, as well as an exciting introductory offer for residential customers.

SNAP CEO Mark Petrie says “We believe that residential users will love the extra data offered as part of our introductory offer. Faster access speeds mean more data – and we know our user’s appetite for data is growing exponentially.”

“SNAP absolutely believes in unleashing the power of the internet which is why our data packs are among the most generous in New Zealand.”

For homes, the base “Lightwave 30” plan that provides up to 30Mbps down and 10Mbps uploads and starts at $75 per month including GST. For that, customers get 25GB of data, and 1 VoIP phone line with free voicemail, caller ID and call waiting.

The higher speed “Lightwave 100” plan with up to 100Mbps down and 50Mbps up starts at $110 per month including GST. This includes 50GB of data as standard plus the voice services of the base plan.

For businesses, the base “Lightwave 30” plan with up to 30Mbps down and 10Mbps upload speeds starts at $119 per month excluding GST. The monthly cost includes 25GB of data, 1 static IP address, five mail box accounts, and one VoIP phone line with free voicemail, caller ID plus call waiting.

A higher speed “Lightwave 100” plan that provides up to 100Mbps down and 50Mbps uploads starts at $149/m ex GST and includes 50GB of data as standard plus the voice services of the base plan.

INTRODUCTORY OFFER
Residential customers who order a UFB service on a 2 year term before 31 October 2012 receive a 145GB data pack add-on at no charge for the first 12 months of their contract term. The offer is open to all residential addresses that SNAP and the fibre providers have confirmed they can connect before 31 st December 2012.

SNAP CEO Mark Petrie says the base plans offer excellent value for money. “Our entry level ADSL offer with a phone line, internet service, and data has proven incredibly popular at $75 per month. We now offer a fibre-based service with about three times the access speeds, and five times the data for the same price, plus the extra data included with the introductory offer. We’re expecting very strong demand”.
