Well it all started a few years back with the cabinet just up the road (100m) was upgraded. After three attempts over the last few years to at least get adsl2 speeds we just had to move providers.
We have calling plans and a long history with the previous provider but eventually you can only be fobbed off soo many times. So bit the bullet and decided to ditch the email address we have had for over 13 years and other calling plans etc and move.
With VDSL available, and looks like according to the plans UFB is many years away in our area, signed up with Snap.
Been a pleasure dealing with them and things have happened on time and as described. The moment we were taken over as wholesale customer, as the first step, while waiting for Fritz, we immediately synced at adsl2 and started enjoying the speeds that we had been paying for all these years.
Crazy stuff even though the previous hour and 30 min fruitless phone call with previous provider explaining that line condition blah blah and that my line is actually good so they cant send some one out , well just isnt good enough.

So enters a new chapter, yesterday cutover to vdsl and immediately enjoying 35 down and 9 up and we still have the old pots active on the line so guess that to be the next stage and cut that over to Voip.

So thanks Snap, really stoked so far, I cant believe I hadn't done this sooner.

I had an epic move to Snap as well a few year ago. There was an upgrade to our cabinet which resulted in us continually being dropped from the network. Solid ADSL light, no internet light.

After 6 months of being told repeatedly it was our modem, and with using multiple modems, we swapped from Telecom to Snap. They got Chorus out within 2 weeks of us joining and they found it to be a faulty connection at the cabinet. Problem solved and rarely have issues now - couldn't be happier with their customer service.
