Stasis007: Actually works out worse for me thb.

Previously I was paying $75 for 70GB which was mostly perfect. Now I'm either paying $70 for 50GB (which isn't quite enough) or $85 for more than I need.

So basically it'll cost me $10 more a month to do what I do. And $10 more a month for customers that were previously paying for 30GB.

I'm happy to see the increase value for 'power users' but it's at the expense of regular customers imo.

Woww ... pretty good plan to start with.

Mine was $60 for 10Gb and a $10 add on for $20Gb ... so paying just a little less for a lot less Bandwidth.

Bro you are on the old naked plan. Just like me. They updated the plans not to long ago it was naked @ home 10gb for $60 then they changed the new plans to naked @ home 30gb for $70. Change to the new naked and you will get the deal. Otherwise your addon data will be the only feature that is up-to-date with the new packs just not your base plan as it is an old one. I'm am going to get mine changed! This is an awesome update, thanks snap!

Hey Guys,

I have checked the two less than happy peoples accounts (Stasis007 + kobiak), just to confirm, and if you log into my snap you can see too! We wouldn't (and legally couldn't) increase the price on you without notice, some people have received a lot more data at the same price and some have the same data at a lower price. You will see that even if you are on a "grand-fathered" plan we have still given you all the benefits of the new data add-ons, although these old plans will likely be fully retired and withdrawn in the future.

What a great way to start Monday!!! Thank you Snap! for genuinely providing good value for money product packages!

In my own case however I'm struggling to decide which way to go: I was paying $115 a month for Broadband + Phone with 255Gb data each month; under the new plan I would be getting 275Gb for $100 a month. This is truly great, particularly when you know data will be unmetered between 1am and 7am each day! I would be paying $15 less a month and get 20Gb more data

Now I could also get 525Gb (500+25gb) data plus unmetered data during the above hours for $120 a month; this means if I pay an extra $5 a month I get more than doubled data for the month plus unmetered data between 1am-7am

I will probably remain on my current plan for another month to see how the speed and service goes before making a move or not.

Again many thanks Snap!

Awesome changes, Snap have been brilliant since switching over from Telstra Cable (who were the opposite of brilliant). I've just configured Crashplan to only backup online between 1am and 7am (I also backup to an external 24/7), no more having it come out of my quota!

Great stuff Snap. I'm so happy I stopped waiting for Vodafone to pick up their game with the nDSL plans and came back to you guys.

Very pleased to see the increased data :)

Excellent work, Snap.

One minor problem, the "My Snap" webpage says I have 1050 TB usage per month :D

Ah great, thanks :) It doesn't say what my current base is (or what I'm going to be charged next month) just "Naked Broadband @ home" plan. But reassuring that I'm still on the $60 base plan.

And awesome deal! That's 130GB for what I've been paying for 70GB! Nice one.

im on a plan that i dont really want to change off of just yet (im buidling a house and will change when that is complete in feb/march as i will get home phone as well as internet not just naked).

any chance snap will be decreasing the cost of top ups during the month? $2 for 1gb top up is kinda of annoying, I dont often use all my data, but when I do, i might have 10 days left until next month and struggling to make it through often buying about 4 to 5 tops (usually 2gb sizes).

would be nice if 10GB was was only $10 instead of $20.

currently im on 100GB a month, ill switch to 250gb in feb/march and never have this issue again, but until then :)

RalphFromSnap, thanks Ralph, I was not NOT happy, I was just concerned about it.

You proved SNAP to be good solid ISP once again.

Thanks :)

$110/mth for 150GB of daytime cap plus all-you-can-eat overnight on naked VDSL2 is a perfect combo for me.

That and paying only $50 for a modem as good as the Fritz!Box 7390 almost makes me happy to sign up for 24 months (I normally eschew contracts).

Well thats something isn't it. Might have to jump ship very soon. 1000GB for $140 a month... something for me to think about :-/

Ooo the new add-ons look nice.

I'm on a grandfather plan and a light user otherwise 100GB would be sub $75 for me, be sad to see the old plan go, but fair enough eventually. When the grandfathered plans finally get sorted, does it mean a new contract?

Ironically enough - I stick with Snap because of not having a contract.

Cheers,
Gavin.

Does anyone know if having a 0GB data add-on for $0 still gives you unlimited data between 1 and 7am.
I was trying to see if I can be super cheap, and just have my base plan with 25GB of data + phone insurance for $77.20 a month and use the unlimited for all my downloading.

The website wording seems to indicate this is possible.
