Wow, this works now?

The Govt shouldn't be allowed to charge me anymore than $5 for rates per week.

SkyTV should be $20 a month, The Rugby channel should be provided as a basic human right.

People that have no understanding of how businesses work should be allowed to make sweeping comments regarding how those businesses operate.

What's that? The last one's already happening? Oh.

N your submission on milk pricing is also useful.

Your suggestion to simply milk the cow twice as much is valid and worth while.

As a farmer it tells me that I've got an interested customer. Sure, your suggestion to simply milk my cows twice a day and expect to get twice as much milk may not be realistic.

However, mocking you would be silly as you may decide to just ditch the whole milk idea and feed yourself, kids and friends on coke - a commodity that I don't happen to manufacture.

Or worse, you may get so insulted by my mocking that you may choose to import milk power from Australia or China even if it costs you a few extra dollars, and mix up your own milk.

While I personally am not a farmer, I do recall my own farther buying milk power and mixing up milk when I was a child, as the cost of milk to the door was unacceptable to him.

DonGould: Mav by your logic anyone who runs for office should do a degree in political science?

The OPs submission isn't a waste of time, it took me all over 2 minutes to read his suggestions and gives a good presentation of the level of understanding of the market by some people.

I wonder how many people are of his views but are simply to scared to speak up for fear of the obvious ridicule?

Not at all Don, what I said was

"I believe submissions should come if you have researched the topic and have an understanding of what you are asking for not just a I would like this."

I don't believe the Op was even close with his submission and really had a poor understanding of the industry and it's technolgy makeup, all it really said IMO is I want more, faster and cheaper, and was far removed from the technicial and commercial realities , this person really should have reserached this topic before puting in a submission, I agree with Niel completely I'm afraid.

Mav I'm not that the suggestion by the OP to simply milk the cow twice as much shows a good understanding of the milk industry and I do appoligise if I mis-understood what you were trying to say.

I did read what the OP said and agree that most of the suggestions are as piratical as milking a cow twice a day.

However my issue is with mocking him, which is the impression I took from the 2 pages of posts that followed. Was it intended that the posters just mock him? I don't know, but is that the impression I was left with - yes.

It looked to me that people who were far more versed in the subject simply mocked the guy and effectively told him to bugger off till he's bothered to learn a bit more. I found a number of the posts simply offensive towards the OP rather than rewarding him for at least taking an interest in the subject that some of us here make truck loads of money from.

Actually I think most of us decided he was trolling.

Salt I wondered that as well, but mocking a troll only feeds him and makes everyone else look like a bunch of pricks.

Indeed. I am guilty of this. Apologies to the original poster - I should think more often before I post.
