Question for Note 2 owners... A feature on the iPhone thay I totally loved - being able to save ANY picture/photo by long pressing on it & it would save straight into the gallery.
Even if it was a pic on facebook, it'd still do it.
Most androids won't do this on a few 'certain' sites, and especially not on Facebook.
pinkbellbird: Il watch pricing with interest on the Note 2.

Does the Note 2 have this ability???
Please say it does!
I get around that by "sharing" the photo to Dropbox.

OMG - you've made my day!! Not being able to do that has been pissing me off! Forgot to reinstall Dropbox when I reset my phone. Done & Done!
FWIW - I ended up buying the Samsung car dock (which is a generic unit aimed at the SGS3, Note and Note2). The build quality is better than most 3rd party ones (which is why I bought it, didn't want something too ugly).
But - It doesn't identify itself as a "dock" in any way, either via connector or NFC tag, so if you wanted that function, you'd need to DIY somehow. I've got CarHome Ultra setup to fire automatically when a connection to my bluetooth car stereo is detected which does the job. In order to charge the phone, you'll need a separate USB cable, I happened to have a 2A one left over from a previous Samsung device, so with a bit of cable-tucking, it's reasonably unobtrusive, given the battery life on the Note2, it's only needed on longer trips when I need to fire the GPS, or to charge it after a long call.
Dick Smith have the things for $60, not exactly cheap, but I bit the bullet for the build quality.
You can also save night any picture by "sharing" it to the picture editing app, then saving it from there.
"You are" = "You're" - Not "Your". "They are" = "They're" - Not "Their" or "There". You probably mean "lose" not "loose". There's no such word as "Alot".
