Tonight I enabled Homegroups on my Win7 PC (brain fade)...and then realised other devices would probably no longer be able to see my shared folders....which was why in 3 years I had never enabled Homegroups. (d'oh...)
Sure enough....they can't see the shares.
Ok..so I checked out how to disable Homegroups and I have done that. Off. Disabled. Gone.
But I still can't see my shares.
Has anyone with Android and ES File Explorer found themselves in this situation? Is there hope?
If you're not curious, your brain is already dying...if not dead. Easiest way was to redo the share settings for the folders (right click > Share with...) and then go through the advanced sharing settings (Properties > Sharing > Advanced) as well and make sure nothing got changed there.
