l337will: Actually I ordered an 8gb over the Play Store which is already in NZ and YouShop asked me to declare a value.. this is because if you order from the play store, Google does not add an invoice (got previous experience with a Nexus 7).

As for my experiences with YouShop, once it arrived on the 22nd, it was promptly sent after payment and is already in NZ since yesterday. Hopefully all goes well now, I'll keep you updated :)

how much did "YouShop" charge you in total for the delivery to your door?

was it $17.50 nzd for <500g parcels, or some other value?

mine was, I added $6 for compensation cover, and used the KIWIBANK10 code and it came to $20.

Received an email from Google Play today (I'd signed up for notification when the Nexus 4 was avaiable for sale:

Nexus 4 will be available for purchase later today!
Order yours from Google Play starting today, November 27 at 12:00 noon PST (U.S. only).

Wonder how quickly they'll sell out this time??

Anyone know how to short curcuit payment of duty at customs.  Apparently NZPost have sent me a notice for my phone, and have given me the notice number, but customs can't find it on their system.  Don't want to wait for the notice to come through snail mail.  Anyone done this before?

Usually if you've got the notice number customs is able to locate the package and process it for you over the phone, I NEVER wait for the postal notification and ALWAYS get the items before the postal notice even arrives. Try phoning again.

Well, I think I'll take one more look a little later in the day and if nothing going then I'll give up on ordering from the Play Store.

I'm thinking of ordering via mobicity so warranty issues are easier to deal with, at least for the first 12 months. It's basically an extra ~$150 more than the play store though which is a little hard to stomach.

Android 4.2.1 is out for Nexus 4.

Think we need a new thread to discuss actual N4 issues as opposed to this one which is now mainly about how to get one Laughing

Yeah, this thread should really be renamed "Wannabe LG Nexus 4 Owners Thread"
