"Due to high demand, your order could not be processed. Please try again later."

This is incredibly frustrating. I feel dirty, like an iphone user lining up for hours on launch day :o

Same. Guessing they will take our orders later in the day though. 4-5 weeks before we get... maybe in time for Xmas?

Well, I have one in my cart YES... I think. I actually ended up with two so had to remove one :-)

I will just wait for things calm down before I go through the purchase process.
The 16 GB nexus has a 1 to 2 week wait whilst the 8GB one has a 4 week wait, I've noticed.

NZtechfreak:
dmbkiwi: Anyone know how to short curcuit payment of duty at customs.  Apparently NZPost have sent me a notice for my phone, and have given me the notice number, but customs can't find it on their system.  Don't want to wait for the notice to come through snail mail.  Anyone done this before?

Usually if you've got the notice number customs is able to locate the package and process it for you over the phone, I NEVER wait for the postal notification and ALWAYS get the items before the postal notice even arrives. Try phoning again.

I've got the number for the international mail centre so I can get my entry number, but they don't answer the phone ;-(  I'll keep trying.  Such an inefficient system.

Apparently if you tab down to the "Proceed" button and then hold down the enter key, it'll eventually go through - source: reddit.

if you're getting errors when you're pressing the "proceed" button, just keep hammering the button. it'll eventually go through. i've finally managed to get one :) but now comes the 5 week wait :(

I can get the payment screen but it rejects the payment in google wallet.

For those that successfully ordered: was it on your normal google account? Was it your normal NZ visa/mastercard?

I have serious concerns about warranty issues with this phone so sadly I'm going to wait. Was looking forward to a new phone, might get the Galaxy S3 instead.

Blair 003. I had same prob the first time. To get it working I had to login to my bank and change my visa card address to the USA mail forwarding company. That may be enough for you but I also had to open a new gmail and wallet account and then as the visa card to that.simple enough but you should get in quick.
Good luck

(using an american VPN) i made a google wallet account with an existing g-mail account. linked my ASB debit card to it. when my purchase order went through and when it asked me for my "billing address", i input my YouShop-delegated details (except i used my debit card name).

i'm not sure whether my process will net me the phone or not but of course i hope i've done it right and that it does.
