Lolbooks:
kendo: Is there a google receipt in the package showing the price? Wont Youshop and shipit to be able to see it if there was?

When I recieved my invoice for purchasing it only says shipping address and where its coming from ( in this case googles address) billing is just to verify your credit card and such whicch is why we have $$ taken from our account but its not showing where because its pending. Everything will go to your shipping address not your billing. They dont care about that. All they wanna know is where we deliver to. Can we take your money and done

So do they not actually see an amount when presenting an invoice by request?

Say customs asks to see your invoice to confirm information about your item/product. Does it only show the Shipping address and where it is coming from? So basically they do not care about the value of the product when asking to see an invoice? They just want to see if it is legitimate?

Firstly customs asking to see your invoice rarely happens. I'll post an image of the invoice I got to push out all worries from your behind. And yes they do care about the value of the product especially when it's something prominently marked as low like a phone that's why they would ask you for an invoice but I seriously doubt they would although it a possibility. I will pm you the pic

Google doesn't put a value on the phone you declare the value yourself.

I suppose so. I mean the only way they would find out it's a 16GB is if they happen to open the packaging and look at the receipt attached to the package. Other than that there is no possible way to distinguish an 8GB between a 16GB. The only way is to look at the system memory settings that's the ONLY possible way (and the receipt)

The charger is 110v-240v and works in NZ with a standard travel adaptor.

God I'm loving Google Now, I had it on my Galaxy Nexus and also on my Nexus 4 and over time it just gets better and better.  It makes Siri look like a joke.

It's awesome, and for my needs I can't fault it.  Superb product at a superb price.  I haven't encountered any problems whatsoever.  My only concern is because it's glass on the back it tends to slide around alot, if you rest your phone on a surface with even a slight gradient it'll start to slide.  My case can't come quick enough.

Google Now is utterly brilliant, it's scary Google knows so much about me but utterly convenient at at the same time.

Google Now....
1. Learnt where I live and where I work and automatically alerts me when traffic is heavy around the times I would normally depart for home or work (amazingly useful).
2. Knows I like the Colts NFL team and alerts me when games are about to start, in progress score updates and recaps at the end.
3. Tells me what buses are close by and the times they're expected.
4. Tells me the weather forecast.
5. Picked up the tracking number of the Nexus 4 case I ordered by scanning my email and notifies me of the status of the tracking.
6. Learnt I go grocery shopping on Saturday morning and give me traffic information from my location to the supermarket.

These are just a few of things it has done, on it's own, without my intervention. it just learnt all this stuff from my google search history, email and location etc.  It's scary and awesome all at the same time.  Personally the reason I think the reason Apple rushed out their own map application is because they need to track peoples information so they can offer a similar service to Google Now.  The future isn't talking to your phone through things like Siri the future is your phone knowing in advance what you want and telling you before you even ask.

The phone itself is fast, the screen is beautiful, it's just incredible and in my opinion better than phones that cost double or more.  Plus stock android is awesome cause you get regular updates.  I love looking at my "running" apps and see over 1GB of free ram :-)

For those that are still waiting you;re in for a treat.

My 16GB phones have a 2-3 week wait time.

Damn you! 2-3 wk vs 6-7 :( I hope LG somehow gets a bit of christmas sprinkle and rain nexus 4's in googles workshop so they can ship out faster.

BUt yeah that's awesome that google now is so advanced and a billion years ahead of siri. Siri sounds too robitc. Google now has a calm & natural voice it really annoys when I use siri on my ipod touch 5g having to hear the robotic voice. But seems good from your side hopefully it comes good on future nexus 4 owners in NZ  update us on your nexus!

It's not so much the voice that makes it different but the fact that it knows and learns so much without intervention. Slide your finger up and Google Now appears with a whole bunch of relevant and useful information or sometimes it'll even just notify you without being invoked. Brilliant.

Battery seems to have improved after a few cycles, currently showing 56% after 10hrs. I am only seeing a weather card pop up in Google Now, perhaps there are some settings I have missed.

I did a full drain to 1% out of the box (had 80% out of the box)then charged to 100% which took 2.5hrs

Getting good battery life which contradicts what I am reading on XDA but just today I noticed my profile manager reports add using more battery than my screen. Investigation time :) I love Android!!

Will post pics of my battery life when I am on front of my PC.

Lithium ion and pol are exact same?

And is it fine to leave it charging for a good 24 hours lol cause a lot of people like to charge their products up to full!
