JamesL: Apologies if this has already been discussed but couldn't find anything when searching, with my SGS2 I had the ability to set the system language to English (New Zealand) however there doesn't seem to be this on the Nexus

Is this possible or not?

Doesn't look like it.  I set mine (or it may have defaulted) to English UK under Settings > Language and Input.  In Voice Search settings, it is possible to set it to English NZ, which I assume helps it with recognising the NZ accent.

Yeah, thought so.

Checked my partners Nexus 7 and there's no English NZ under language either. Ah well, the only annoyance is how it defaults to the pound sign instead of $

I'll probably switch back to swiftkey, just wanted to try the stock keyboard out

Just a quick suggestion. To get the $ symbol long press the £ key.

Coming from sgs2 using Swype I am loving the stock N4 key board

Hi

I am in Auckland and I have just picked up my Nexus 4 (16G) from Customs. And I have a spare one to sell at cost.

Cost $349US shipping to US address $14, Shipping to NZ $46US = $409US / by 0.81 = $504.94NZ
Customs $75.74NZ GST plus $38.07 entry fee, plus $36.78 agents fee.

Total = $660.68 new sealed in box.

I will take $660 cash

If interest contact Peter 021 2149849 or email twobikes22@gmail.com

Merry Christmas

It's a fee charged by TNT as a broker to process customs clearance, but I was bringing in 2 phones so thought I would be honest, stupid huh! if only one would have declared at $285 to come under $400NZ dollars.  But sold spare which covered costs on other so my phone only cost me $440NZ.

The Nexus 4 doesn't come with any headphones. What are a good brand to buy that has compatible controls on the cable?

There are some Logitech headphones at MightyApe on special below that have the control but a comment mentions that they're not compatible with one phone (not a Nexus 4 though).

Does vodafone do free sim swap to micro sim in store? If not then what would be my best option. I'm on prepay smart data.
