:(

I actually don't mind the glass back. Was just very unfortunate to drop mine onto hard tiles the way I did. Never dropped my droid 3 onto anything other than carpet.

Nope bought it from Bond and Bond a couple of weeks ago.

Not sure. I will talk with LG and see what the options are. Not to worried. its just cracked for now. The glass hasn't actually come apart. Hopefully I can keep it together.

I guess my point was people complains how easy it is to crack iphone glass back. Despite this LG went ahead and copy iphone design.

http://www.androidauthority.com/nexus-4-cracked-back-glass-135237/

edit:

The Nexus 4 shapes out to be a very popular device, and I am sure that LG will offer replacement parts. But the back plate of the Nexus is more than a casing ? it includes the Qi wireless charging coil, a NFC antenna and other miscellany. For this reason, it?s unlikely that the replacement back plate will be cheap.

Side note: got my nexus4 from noelleeming boxing day for 639. Loving it!!
First android device after 3 years plus on iOS. Pulled 10 Mbit from voda where my 3gs would get 3. And upload speed is amaaz

Sorry for your broken back, someone mentioedn a GZ members should get together and import the google LG bumper from Play Store in bulk like 10 or 20 of them and share shipping costs.

Anyone interested start another thread.  I would be in for one!

Yeah me too. Too bad it's not know when it's going to be in stock again

Probably ideal if people who live in the same area buy together. That way shipping within nz is cheaper
