My partner has one. Motoblur is pretty meh. Wouldn't recommend it for noob users. Great if you want to change the launcher or put a custom ROM on. Good camera, and decent dual core CPU.

Probably best new phone that $270 can buy esp. with local warranty.

Her device received an OTA ICS upgrade notification two days ago too.

Haven't done it yet as haven't had it around a WiFi AP yet...

Went in to Harvey Norman on Thursday to get one-> out of stock in all of Christchurch.

So went to mall as Noel lemming and Bond & Bond price match-> conveniently out of stock and even Telecom store was aswell, no big deal though as HN said will be some in Mon/Tue. (but if you want cheap price order online or go in store and put your name down to order by Sunday 16th)

Ordered one online, so should get next week, can't wait, yes it's not up there with top of the line phones but for the price of $268 it's a good deal, my current phone is a Vodafone 845 (had since they first came out) and is a great little phone, but the Atrix 2 will be a big upgrade (like going from windows 3.1 to Windows 7), ha ha

Will put ICS in when I get it too.

Cheers

I'll let you know. Hopefully it'll be around WiFi tomorrow night and I'll do the update.

My friend got one from Harvey Norman but the update is not appearing. Wondering if it will just come through by itself eventually. Manually checking for updates on it has no effect.

Girlfriend got the Atrix 2 for $299 a month ago,

No Telecom NZ ICS update at that time, even though they had been released for everyone else.  It's very easy to get this phone running CM10 (4.1) and it is GREAT without all the motoblur crap...
