Testing now for you, but have you checked the "keep awake" option in the settings?

Mine went to sleep pretty quickly, and kept on running (hope that's what you meant). I just noticed though that it asks if I want more apps when I close it, so maybe Im not using a stock app. I couldnt find any more stopwatch apps on my phone though that could be from HTC.

My stopwatch function works fine, just ran it for two hours no problem

That said I am running stock Google 4.3 so may be different to sense ROM?

Thanks for checking, I am using 4.2.2 , it has been reflashed twice at the repair centre ,so anything I had on it has gone.

Repair description says
"Confirmed stopwatch goes for 99 mins & does not go to sleep when stopwatch is in operation which is a normal feature of this device.
Compared with a good device & it acts the same way . This is not a fault of the device"

So yours goes to sleep & carries on after 99 minutes?

My iphone ( and any other phone I have had) goes to sleep .
Seems an odd 'feature'

I'm not sure if we're using the same app. Does yours have settings in the top right (3 dots)? If so, pls check to see what the Keep Awake option is set to No.

If you don't see that, then I must have somehow deleted the stock app and replaced it with another. And of course, this would be your solution too. There's tons (56) of stopwatch apps in the Play store.

Good luck :)

Yes I have the three dots , but I do not have the stay awake option ,

Can anyone with the stock , clock/stopwatch confirm that it sleeps / stays awake?

There is no keep awake option on the stock Sense stopwatch.

Zub are you using the stock Sense ROM or Google Play one?

Playing with the leaked Sense 5.5 build and it is GOOD!

With each previous update 4.1.2 > 4.2.2 > 4.3, Sense hasn't really seen a lot of fixes there were even quite a few popup windows that still hadn't the stock Android 'Holo' look to them.

This goes a long way to fixing a lot of little things. Even RAM usage is way down and everything feels a whole lot faster and smoother (opening and closing app drawer etc).

The new Blinkfeed got much better and also fixed the very common Facebook/Sense authorisation issue that was introduced with 4.2.2.

Are there any custom roms using the leaked build?

Yeah all of the main ones have rebased.

Battery life is far better than it was with 4.2 and the 4.3 Sense 5 release.

Just downloaded the December issue of the T3 magazine. In its annual awards the HTC One scored best gadget, best smartphone and the design award. Not bad for a magazine that previously seemed to besotted with the iPhone.
Nice to have an iconic device in my possession.

Any word on when 4.3 will be available on HTC One in New Zealand yet?

Telstra are saying as of a couple of days ago they haven't received a 4.3 update from HTC for testing and so far their updates have been pushed out within a day or so of ours.

Looks like it is only the international unlocked editions that received the current 4.3 update plus a different version for the US carriers.

They might skip the current 4.3 update that is floating around in favour of pushing out the 4.3 with Sense 5.5 that is being worked on by HTC.
