I think this may have been mentioned already but in case, there is an app here that can tell you if your phone is susceptible to getting bricked. Mine shows it is but I have flashed a lot of roms and kernals without issue.

Cheers Still here, been slow on posting due to finding a very stable setup here: Samsung Galaxy SII (I9100T) ROM: WanamLite XWLPG 12 + Domination 4.6 JKay Kernel: Siyah v3.3.2 + Extweak extreme with no UV Modem: I9100TDOLP4 (Telecom) DOLP4 gives me the best results compared to all the standard and T modems ive used, T modems generally give me better reception in the burbs and better speed in the CBD. My setup is similar to yours and I get close to 19mbps in the CBD (my results are a few pages back) I will update to UHLPS when the new domination works on it or move on to 4.0.4 stable but stick to the same modem.

Thanks for the info. I'll hunt down that modem and give it a whirl. Testing UHLPS as of today. Possibly some minor issues with the current config. Two or three FCs but haven't identified the cause as yet. Samsung Galaxy SII (I9100T) ROM: Omega v20.1 - XWLSD 4.1.2 JB Kernel: Philz Modem: XXLS8

Was just looking at this. It's an aluminium case for our phone that you can attach a tripod too. Thought I'd post it for the avid photo taker on this thread

kiwitrc: Mine shows it is but I have flashed a lot of roms and kernals without issue. I think that pretty much all of the I9100/I9100T models have flash memory firmware that's susceptible to the bug. However, it'll only affect you if you're using a kernel that has enabled ERASE and TRIM support. Most of the I9100 custom kernels are based on the Update4 source, which doesn't have the necessary support enabled. This means that most custom kernels are fine to use. However, it appears that the LQ5 stock kernel does have ERASE/TRIM support enabled, and therefore it can cause the problem. (CF-Root kernels are also affected because they only modify initramfs, not the kernel itself.) It's more universal and versatile, plus it doesn't matter whether you're using an extended battery or not. I have tried a few other modems from other international ROMs but I find their battery usage to be more. I have fast dormancy disabled as well and I don't see any secril_fd-interface wakelocks. Damager: Can someone please link a CF Root Kernel suitable for the latest Telecom ICS Rom dated 16 June 2012? There doesn't need to be an exact match between the ROM you're using and the kernel. Any of the ICS kernels from this post on XDA should work just fine. I'd suggest something recent like CF-Root-SGS2_XW_NEE_LPG-v5.5-CWM5.zip. The only kernels in that post that you shouldn't use are the Gingerbread kernels at the top, and the LQ5 kernel at the bottom. The Gingerbread kernels just flat out won't work with ICS, and the LQ5 kernel is susceptible to a bug that can permanently brick your phone. And I do mean permanent - even service centres that can do JTAG repairs will be unable to fix the phone. Ok, upgraded the ol' S2 to Wannamlite 12.2 and the notification brightness swipe feature has gone. Just a heads up Samsung Galaxy S III GT-i9300 - Running SuperNexus 2.0 Build 4 Samsung Galaxy S II GT-i9100 - Running SuperNexus 2.0 Build 3 - Now belongs to GF http://wellymtb.blogspot.co.nz/

Hi has anyone else found that since the Telecom upgrade to 4.03 that they cannot swipe the notification bar to adjust brightness of the screen. (auto is off)

This is a common misconception that the Rom/Kernel version you are running is the same as the Modem. As you can see according the Fus Downloader the current Telecom Rom still uses the DOLP4 modem.
