Looks like http://www.galaxys3iii.com/ covers what's known pretty well so far.

There's a "mystery" launch event by Samsung on March 22nd, probably the SGS3 announce. Don't expect the phone to be available anywhere until at least mid-April I'd imagine.

"You are" = "You're" - Not "Your".  "They are" = "They're" - Not "Their" or "There".  You probably mean "lose" not "loose".  There's no such word as "Alot".

I really hope it's not a 4.8" Screen. Please no!

If I wanted a big screen TV with me, I would carry a projector!

It's a phone Jim!

Downhill? Looks like what I have been seeing all along except the screen has gone from 4.3 to 4.5 to 4.65 to 4.8!

14.4Mbps DL when the SGII supports 21Mbps DL

Yah that was strange. I was wondering that myself. Who cares though really, I've never broken 5mbps except in Australia where I was getting 8 in Melbourne down.

Rumours don't seem very well founded

Yah I am thinking that too. I can't really imagine getting a less technically capable phone from Samsung flagship compared to it's GSII

So lets analyze the rumours... from this source: http://www.bgr.com/2012/02/27/samsung-galaxy-s-iii-full-specs-1-5ghz-quad-core-1080p-display-ceramic-case/

1.5GHz quad-core Samsung Exynos processor
Definitely likely

4.8-inch ?full HD? 1080p resolution with 16:9 aspect ratio display
Screen size is likely to be similar but 1080p? Heck no

A 2-megapixel front-facing camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera
Would have expected a higher megapixel sensor here

Ceramic case
Anything is possible

4G LTE
American markets, plus LTE growth in Europe, obvious enough

Android 4.0
Well duh, if it was Gingerbread it would be DOA

Anything I have seen that is ceramic is quite fragile, and if dropped, shatters, including a ceramic knife I owned.
Ceramic case doesn't really appeal.

No chance of a 1080p screen I would think.

What speeds are LTE, and do we have any form of ETA for NZ Mobile Markets?

I'm betting on Vodafone showing their hand later this year, Telecom will be at least 4 months behind a VF launch

more likely a different form of ceramic, such as ceramic they use in turbochargers, bearings, brake discs(carbon ceramic), or bullet proof vests

if they made it out of the same stuff as a ceramic knife, there would be chips all over my phone by now!

Oh, no phone, just a ceramic knife set like yours.  Was just saying that if my phone was porcelain, I would've chipped/smashed it a long time ago.

In terms of ceramics though, they could use a variety of materials.  Titanium carbide, would be my pick.  Strong, light, and looks very good!  It'd be virtual drop/smash proof, if it was incorporated into the lip surrounding the screen.

EDIT: Just realised Gorilla glass is basically a glass, and ceramic based material.  They aren't trying to say that Gorilla glass will be front, and back are they?  if so, I won't be getting it

The specs are leaking out for the forthcoming successor to the very popular Samsung Galaxy S II. It is expected to be powered by Samsung's 1.5 GHz quad-core Exynos 4412 SoC, which includes four Cortex-A9 processing cores and four ARM Mali GPU cores. The S III is expected to have a large 4.8-inch 1920 x 1080p display. Note, this is the same resolution that is on your ?Full HD? HDTV. It will be running Ice Cream Sandwich.

How insane will it be if that is true!
